Products & peptides

8 questions

Research peptides are short chains of amino acids — the building blocks of proteins — synthesised for use in laboratory and in-vitro scientific research. They are used by researchers to study biological processes, cell signalling pathways, protein interactions, metabolic functions, and potential therapeutic mechanisms.

Examples include BPC-157, which is studied for its role in tissue repair mechanisms; Semaglutide, studied in metabolic and weight regulation research; and Epitalon, studied in the context of ageing and telomere biology.

All AetherPeak products are for research use only — not for human consumption

All AetherPeak peptides are supplied as lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in sealed vials. Lyophilisation removes moisture from the peptide, significantly extending shelf life and maintaining stability during storage and shipping.

Lyophilised peptides must be reconstituted with an appropriate solvent (typically bacteriostatic water or sterile water for injection) before use in research applications. See our dosage and reconstitution calculator for guidance.

Tip: Store lyophilised peptides at 2–8°C away from light and moisture

Our product pages include detailed research specifications for each peptide, including molecular formula, molecular weight, known research applications, and storage conditions. Our peptide research guides also provide in-depth information on specific peptide categories.

If you need guidance specific to your research application, our team includes researchers with backgrounds in biochemistry and pharmacology. Contact us with details of your research area and we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.

Yes. We offer curated combo stacks — pre-selected combinations of complementary peptides commonly used together in research protocols. Each stack includes the individual peptides supplied separately in their own labelled vials, along with documentation for each component.

Current stacks include Recovery Stack (BPC-157 + TB-500), Weight Management Stack, and Longevity Stack (Epitalon + GHK-Cu). Custom stacks for institutional buyers can be arranged — contact us for bulk enquiries.

Lyophilised (unopened): Store at 2–8°C (standard refrigerator temperature), away from direct light, moisture, and heat. Properly stored lyophilised peptides are stable for 24 months from the date of manufacture in most cases.

After reconstitution: Store reconstituted peptide solution at -20°C (freezer). Use within 4–6 weeks of reconstitution. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles — divide into single-use aliquots if possible. Keep away from UV light at all times.

For long-term storage of reconstituted peptide, prepare single-use aliquots before freezing

Available sizes vary by peptide and are listed on individual product pages. Most products are available in multiple quantities — commonly 2mg, 5mg, and 10mg vials. Some peptides with higher research demand are available in 20mg or 50mg quantities.

For bulk or custom quantities not listed on the product page, contact our team. We can often accommodate custom quantity requests for institutional or recurring orders at negotiated pricing.

Quality & testing

7 questions

Third-party testing means the analysis of each batch is conducted by an independent, accredited laboratory that has no financial or operational relationship with AetherPeak or our suppliers. This is fundamentally different from a manufacturer's own internal testing — an independent lab has no incentive to approve a failing batch.

Our laboratory partner holds ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and conducts HPLC purity analysis, mass spectrometry identity confirmation, microbial screening, heavy metal analysis, and residual solvent testing on every batch we source. See our quality standards page for full details.

Yes. Certificates of analysis for all current batch listings are available in our lab results archive. Each COA is linked from the relevant product page under the "Lab results / COA" tab.

If the specific batch COA you're looking for isn't visible in the archive, contact us with the product name and batch number — we can provide the document directly.

Browse the COA archive

Our average batch purity across all listed products is 99.2% as measured by HPLC analysis. Our minimum listing threshold is 98.0% — any batch testing below this is rejected and never listed for sale.

For comparison, many suppliers in the peptide research market advertise a 95% minimum purity threshold — and in some cases that figure is based on the manufacturer's own unverified internal testing rather than independent analysis.

Every vial we ship is labelled with a unique batch number. To verify your product:

  • Locate the batch number printed on the vial label
  • Visit our lab results archive and search or browse for that batch number
  • Download the PDF COA and confirm the batch number, peptide name, test date, and purity result all match your product

If the batch number on your vial doesn't match any COA in our archive, contact us immediately at [email protected].

Every batch is subject to a full panel of six analytical tests:

  • HPLC: Purity percentage measurement
  • Mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS): Identity and sequence confirmation
  • Microbial & endotoxin (LAL): Contamination screening
  • Heavy metals (ICP-MS): Lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium
  • Residual solvents (GC): Against ICH Q3C guidelines
  • Moisture/lyophilisation (KF): Stability and reconstitution quality

See our quality and testing standards page for a detailed explanation of each method and its threshold criteria.

Yes. Since 2021 we have rejected 23 batches that failed to meet our listing criteria. These products were never listed, never sold, and were either returned to the supplier under documented protocols or destroyed.

Rejection triggers include purity below 98%, failed identity confirmation, detectable microbial contamination, heavy metals above ICH Q3D limits, and significant deviation between our independent COA and the supplier's own documentation. Repeated failures result in the supplier being removed from our approved list entirely.

The peptide research supply market has no universal mandatory quality standard. The key differences between AetherPeak and most competitors come down to three points:

  • Independence: We test with an accredited third-party lab — not the manufacturer's internal lab
  • Threshold: Our minimum listing purity is 98% vs the industry typical 95% — and our average is 99.2%
  • Scope: We run six analytical tests per batch vs the industry norm of HPLC only

We publish all of this data openly in our COA archive and quality standards page — unlike many competitors whose quality claims are unverifiable. Read our full testing methodology.

Research guidance

7 questions

Reconstitution is the process of dissolving lyophilised peptide powder in a solvent to create a usable solution. The general process is:

  • Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening to prevent moisture condensation
  • Use bacteriostatic water (for multi-use research applications) or sterile water for injection as your solvent
  • Add solvent slowly by directing it down the side of the vial — do not inject directly onto the lyophilised cake
  • Gently swirl or rotate the vial — do not shake or vortex, as this can degrade peptide structure
  • Allow 5–10 minutes for complete dissolution before use

Use our dosage and reconstitution calculator to determine the exact volume of solvent needed to achieve your target concentration for a specific research protocol.

Never shake — always gently swirl to dissolve

The appropriate solvent depends on the specific peptide's solubility properties:

  • Bacteriostatic water: The standard choice for most peptides — suitable for multi-use research vials, as the 0.9% benzyl alcohol preservative prevents microbial growth over repeated use
  • Sterile water for injection: Suitable for single-use reconstitution where a preservative is not needed
  • Acetic acid (0.1% or 1% in sterile water): Required for some hydrophobic or poorly soluble peptides (e.g. GH secretagogues)
  • DMSO: Occasionally required for very hydrophobic peptides — typically used at low concentrations

Solvent recommendations are noted on individual product pages and COAs. If in doubt, contact our team.

Reconstituted peptide stability varies by peptide type and storage conditions, but as a general guideline:

  • Stored at 2–8°C (refrigerator): Most peptides are stable for up to 14 days. Use bacteriostatic water as the solvent to extend this
  • Stored at -20°C (freezer): Stable for 4–6 weeks for most peptides
  • Stored at -80°C (ultra-low freezer): Stable for up to 6 months for most peptides

Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles — each cycle degrades peptide integrity. For extended research protocols, prepare single-use aliquots before freezing and thaw only what you need for each session.

We provide research-focused information — not clinical dosage recommendations. Our resources include:

  • Dosage & reconstitution calculator — for calculating working concentrations and volumes
  • Peptide research guides — covering research applications, mechanisms, and published study summaries by category
  • Product page research specifications — including molecular data, solubility notes, and storage conditions

For questions specific to your research application, our team can provide informed guidance based on published literature. Contact us — we're happy to help where we can.

We do not provide clinical or medical dosage advice

"Research Use Only" (RUO) is a designation that indicates a product is intended and approved solely for in-vitro laboratory research purposes. It explicitly excludes use in clinical procedures, drug applications, food, cosmetics, or human/veterinary administration.

From a legal standpoint, RUO products are sold under the understanding that the buyer is a qualified researcher purchasing for legitimate scientific study. The burden of ensuring lawful use, appropriate import compliance, and regulatory adherence rests with the buyer, not the supplier.

By purchasing from AetherPeak you confirm you understand and accept these conditions, as outlined in our terms and conditions.

Yes. We do not supply peptides that are:

  • Scheduled or controlled substances in major jurisdictions without appropriate licensed research exemptions
  • Peptides for which we cannot identify a manufacturer meeting our quality standards
  • Peptides that have no documented legitimate research application or published scientific basis

Our product decisions are guided by what we can supply responsibly and document thoroughly — not purely by commercial demand. If you have questions about a specific peptide's availability, contact us directly.

Yes. Each product page includes research application notes based on published peer-reviewed literature. Our research guides and blog also provide summaries of key published studies for major peptide categories.

We reference published studies from PubMed, journal databases, and academic sources. We never make unverified claims about our products' applications — every stated research use is traceable to published scientific literature. Links to primary sources are included where available.
